Jenny advises how to kneel and stand safely to prevent knee pain at work or when exercising

Many people experience knee pain, and a lot of our active and non-active clients have been given confusing advice on how to deal with it.

The issue can often be traced back to repetitive kneeling to standing movements, particularly for those stacking shelves at work, or passing items from the floor to a higher position in any walk of life.

Unfortunately, this causes the nerves that supply the knee and quads, coming from the back, to compress, irritating the nerves, and leading to referred knee pain and often swelling.

Jenny's article delves deeper into the cause and effect of this scenario, and the video link below gives a great demonstration of how to help prevent the pain occurring by kneeling to standing correctly.
