Women's Health

Blizard Physiotherapy are here to help you solve those troublesome conditions such as:
  • Bladder Leakage
  • Weak Pelvic Floor
  • Prolapse Problems
  • Pregnancy Related Issues
One in three women are affected at some point in their life with bladder, pelvic floor or prolapse symptoms.

These often very distressing problems won’t improve without action and can get worse as you get older, seriously affecting your freedom to live and function as independently as you wish.

These problems may also have a dramatic effect on your sexual fulfilment, your ability to play with your children, take part in sports, go to work or even leave your home.

There is good evidence to suggest that physiotherapy is particularly effective in the treatment of the above problems prior to further investigations, treatment, medication or surgery.

Government guidelines recommend physiotherapy as an initial treatment.

Physiotherapy can provide simple and effective solutions. This treatment is completely confidential, allowing you to have complete trust in the service provided. You will once again be able to have the self confidence in your ability to live as carefree as you wish.
