The Nikon is my no nonsense system for low light and for when I feel like a change. With a Sony 45.7mp sensor, it delivers everything I need if the Olympus falls short. It’s the steak when I want a change from caviar.

Accessories
Good equipment to carry the gear in all weather and stability is essential. I have learned over the years not to cut corners. F-Stop produce backpacks that take the beating, whilst Gitzo for me produce the quality of tripod I demand. Clothing is also essential, I use Scarpa and Zamberlan boots, clothing by Berghaus and Craghoppers, and winter gear by Fjallraven.
