Your Wedding will be one of the best days of your lives and the photography of this day will freeze time as it was for prosperity, for the both of you, your families and your friends.
Some ideas I have utilised in the past are as follows:-

The Bridal Party: Meet and greet the bridal party as they prepare in an informal atmosphere.

The Groom Party: As time allows, Meet and greet the groom party as they prepare in an informal atmosphere at the venue.

The Chapel/Venue: Although it is your day, the photographer needs some control at the venue, so as to highlight the great day. Guests need to be aware of this.

Both Parties: A time to get away and capture history, this can be done in another venue such as a nice garden setting.

The “Last Supper”: A panoramic photo of the top table is a lasting memory; it requires a little time and discipline from all those on the top table before the wine flows.

Cutting of the Cake: Sometimes this can be done away from the hordes before formal proceedings begin, thus allowing the guests to take photo’s when the cake is actually cut.

The Hordes: Completed during the celebration, usually informally. Additionally I have seen disposable camera’s used (one per table) to capture events.

Aftermath: Photographs taken of the bridal waltz and those special dances with father, mother, grandparents etc. It also includes the “garter ceremony”.

Your Questions & Ideas: IT IS YOUR DAY, you probably have your own ideas you can add here, as you should. The photographer is there to capture your happy day, so don’t be scared to add your own ideas and especially questions.

I can send some example photographs if you require.
