Hahnemühle FineArt has been developed to meet the highest standards of Fine Art photographers using only the finest raw materials and manufacturing techniques. FineArt Baryta 325 g/m² is a triple coated, lignin free, 100% rag paper. FineArt Baryta 325 paper with its unique glossy baryta surface similar to baryta paper makes it ideal for brilliant black and white prints with the finest grey nuances and also for luminous colour photographs. This paper is a worthy replacement for the legendary baryta paper from analogue laboratories and also possesses the exquisite touch and feel, the 4th dimension typical for Hahnemühle papers. As with all other products in the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection these two new products are also extremely age resistant.
Prints longevity
In terms of rendering, archiving, consistency, light stability and paper quality digital printing is now easily on a par with 'silver' printing. Olivier prints with an Epson STYLUS PRO 7880 or EPSON 9900 Ultrachrome HDR pigment-based printer at 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi. Estimated display life is 150 years before any noticeable change. For best longevity prints should be overmatted and mounted under glass. They should not be displayed in direct sunlight.
Conditions of use and storage
Use and store ideally at a relative humidity of 35 to 65% and a temperature of 10 to 30°C (50° to 86°F).
Use care in handling printed material, as the surface is susceptible to abrasion. Store papers in archive quality envelopes, folders, and boxes.
Use only archive grade tapes and glues for mounting & framing.
