Introduction

As a child I always enjoyed drawing and this hobby has stayed with me to the extent that I rarely go far without a sketchbook. Since taking up Watercolour painting I have picked up many hints and tips from some of the best artists and teachers.

My favourite pastime is painting ‘en plein air’ and I always look forward to a day out with my easel, paints and paper. The company of a good friend is an additional bonus. The time flies by and the cares and worries of everyday life just vanish.

My absolute passion, however, is touring with my husband on our motorbike with my sketchbook and watercolours recording our adventures.

I exhibit my work in East Anglia and have a studio at home to which friends and visitors are always welcome. I am a member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists. The SEAW hold regular exhibitions and workshops in East Anglia.

I have undertaken some interesting commissions in the last few years ranging from people, houses, a lifeboat station, wedding receptions and even a steam roller.

I hope that you enjoy looking through my galleries and gain even a fraction of the pleasure that I do from producing my paintings.
