Adding images to your site
Adjusting your thumbnail settings
The thumbnail produced by the system will be according to the sizes and options specified in Photo settings. If you apply a width and a height to your thumbnails and tick crop thumbnails, the system will crop the thumbnails to ensure they are all the same size. If you assign both dimensions but don't tick crop or if you just assign one of these dimensions, it will adjust the image in proportion to its original size.
You can also re-make your thumbnail after uploading. Please note that if you have applied a watermark to the image, re-making a thumbnail will include the watermark on the thumbnail image.
To re-make your thumbnail, either click the regenerate thumbnail button to automatically adjust the sizes according to photo settings, or else click edit to select the cropping area. On the edit screen you can select the area to crop and select whether to fix the aspect ratio.
