Adding images to your site
If you can't prepare your images
Most photographers are now able to prepare their images digitally. However, some artists may find this more of a problem in that their original image has to be either be scanned or photographed. There is no way round this if you want a web site, either through Clikpic or any other company, your images must ultimately be in a digital format. Here are some options as to how to work through this:
- Ask a friend or contact for help, as this is quite a straightforward procedure (remember, you need to ask them to prepare your images as jpegs prepared to the maximum width, 72dpi, and 80% (or ‘good’) quality).
- Contact a local club and ask for advice or help from a member
- Call a local ‘repro house’ or photographer and ask for a quote for them to do the scanning and image preparation, although this will cost
